Diesel Fuel Parts
Diesel Fuel Parts include numerous different aspects such
as nozzles, which regulates the flow of fuel to the ultimate ignition
compartment. The main function of nozzle is to convert the diesel into
the diesel vapors and spray it on the piston. The various types of nozzles
are DN, DNPD, DL, DLL, DLLA, and DLLAP. Pistons are also included in
the parts section, ranging from 25 mm to 560 mm.
Also included in Diesel Fuel Parts are delivery valves. Delivery valves
have the following functions
• To assist in the rapid built of pressure in the injection line.
• To cut off the flow of fuel at the termination of fuel injection
pulse.
• They are seated on top of the element.
Along with valves, is the Feed pumps. The function of feed pump is to
deliver the fuel from the fuel tank to fuel injection pump through the
fuel filter. The feed pump is attached to the injection pump and driven
by its camshaft.
Diesel Fuel parts will also have hand primers which are screwed in to
the feed pump above the suction valve. They are used to pump the fuel
from the tank to the fuel injection pump when the engine is at rest.
Along with those are diaphragms which are a part of pneumatic governor.
The main function of the governor is to maintain a nearly constant speed
at any point between the idling speed and the maximum speed position.
Pneumatic governors have been designed to provide sensitive speed control
within the entire operating range of the engine.
